Cheryl Felder has served in her position at Channel Shipyard Companies since 1999. She also served as Vice President of Turn Services from 2011 to 2012. Felder is a tireless supporter of the maritime industry, having volunteered on a number of boards and organizations for more than two decades. Her work and service over the years has brought people together for the purpose of strengthening the marine industry.

Felder has served as Treasurer of Waterways Council, Inc., since 2009, and as a member of its Executive Committee and Board of Directors. She is also a member of the American Waterways Operators’ Board of Directors; a member of the Board of the U.S. Coast Guard Foundation; and former President of the Gulf Intracoastal Canal Association, and current At Large Director. Felder is a Trustee of the National Waterways Foundation, a member of the Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association, former Chairman of the Lower Mississippi River Waterway Safety Advisory Committee, and a member of the Louisiana Association of Waterway Operators and Shipyards. She has served as Vice Chairman of the Maritime Navigation and Safety Association.
