The Dubuque County Historical Society and the National Mississippi River Museum serve hundreds of thousands of people annuallly through its exhibits and programs, both on-site and outreach activities. Visitors come from all 50 states and more than 30 countries. All museum properties are accredited by the American Association of Museums.

Our Mission is to collect, preserve, and share the history of Dubuque County, the Mississippi River and Rivers of America.

Member - $35 for individuals; provides year round admission for one adult, quarterly newsletter, invitation to members only holiday party, 10% discount in gift shop.
Family - $75 provides year round admission for 2 adults in the same household, all children ages 21 and under year round, quarterly newsletter, invitation to members only holiday party, 10% discount in gift shop.
Grandparent - $75 provides year round admission for up to 2 adults in the same household and all grandchildren ages 21 and under year round (please list the names with the museum), quarterly newsletter, invitation to members only holiday party, 10% discount in gift shop.
Pilot - $125 provides year round admission for 2 adults, all children ages 21 and under year round (or 2 adults and 4 grandchildren ages 21 and under year round), quarterly newsletter, invitation to members only holiday party, 10% discount in gift shop, 2 complimentary admission tickets, membership and member benefits of Smithsonian Institution and subscription to Smithsonian magazine, and invitation to Pilot’s Club reception.
Steamboat Pilot - $175 provides year round admission for 2 adults, all children ages 21 & under year round or (2 adults and 4 grandchildren ages 21 & under year round), quarterly newsletter, invitation to members only holiday party, 10% discount in gift shop, 4 complimentary admission tickets, membership and member benefits of Smithsonian Institution and subscription to Smithsonian magazine, invitation to Pilot’s Club reception and 15% facility rental discount
Chief Pilot - $250 (Same as Steamboat Pilot) plus six complimentary tickets and 20% facility rental discount
Captain - $500 (Same as Steamboat Pilot) plus eight complimentary tickets and 25% facility rental discount.
Commodore/Corporate - $1,000 (Same as Steamboat Pilot) plus ten complimentary tickets and 50% facility rental discount.
