Behind the Scenes Aquarium Tours
Spend time with one of our experienced aquarists behind the scenes as you visit a variety of rooms used to care for and house our living collections. See where food is prepared, learn about our herp holding area, and take a visit behind the Main Channel. Guests will also get to speak with our aquarists about what their jobs entail and help an aquarist feed animals within either our Main Channel or Backwater Marsh Aquariums.
The experience is one hour in length and can be purchased in conjunction with general admission tickets or enjoyed as a standalone experience. It includes space for up to six individuals.

Health and Safety Information: Due to current health and safety practices, including social distancing, this new tour will be offered on a limited basis at a flat rate per tour, regardless of the number of tour attendees. Tours may consist of up to six individuals. The tour can be purchased as a standalone experience or in combination with general admission, but it does not include general admission.
Availability and Accessibility: Currently offered Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays on a first come, first serve basis at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and 1 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday. The tour is wheelchair accessible. Children must be six years of age or older, and those 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance, and the tour can be purchased online or at the box office.
