On Friday, November 2, 2018, starting at 5:30 pm, we invite you to join the Dubuque County Historical Society and National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium to attend and/or sponsor our annual fundraiser Captain’s Ball 2018: Gin & Jazz at the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium.
Funds raised will go towards our science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) educational programming, preservation of our permanent collections, traveling (RiverWorks Discovery) program and exhibit, live programs, classes and camps. Captain’s Ball 2018 contributes all of its proceeds to these vast opportunities.
It is our vision to be the world’s leader in interpreting and protecting the local life, history and culture of our rivers, to create a more global, knowledgeable and engaged citizen. Our goal is to reach an additional 2 million people in the next 5 years with our local attractions, outreach programs, and exhibits across the county. We would be honored to have your help in this endeavor by becoming an event or table sponsor for this unique event.
Please join Dubuque County Historical Society and the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium as we celebrate making a difference in the lives of children and members of our community!
Join us in celebrating over 50 years of dedication to the Historical Society and 15 years since the opening of the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium. Our collective mission to inspire stewardship by creating educational experiences where history and rivers come alive.
Sponsor and table opportunities available!
