Mathias Ham Historic Site

Located a few miles from the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium at 2241 Lincoln Avenue, Dubuque, this historic site is open Wednesday through Sunday from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the last tour beginning a half hour before closing. The site includes the Ham House, a one-room schoolhouse, Iowa's oldest log cabin, a miner's dwelling and replica led mine. Tours of the home are provided by costumed interpretors.

Stingray Feedings

Stingray feedings take place at 2:30 p.m. daily. They are limited to 10 tickets per day and are sold on a first come, first serve basis. If you are planning a trip and hoping to participate in this experience, we encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance. The tickets are only valid for the date selected and are non-refundable.  Tickets for the month go on sale at the start of each month.
