Call for local baseball memorabilia and artifacts

In 2020, the Dubuque County Historical Society (DCHS) will pay homage to the area’s rich baseball history by creating a “mini-exhibit” at its National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium. The mini-exhibit will primarily feature the early years of Minor League Baseball in Dubuque, beginning in 1879 when the Dubuque Red Stockings beat the World Champion Chicago White Stockings, 1-0. Unexpected opportunity to care for orphaned animal
