The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium sets the mood for romance this Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, February 14. The Museum & Aquarium is hosting its annual Valentine’s Day Candlelight Dinner among the aquariums and exhibits in the Mississippi River Center. Don’t miss the opportunity to dine within a truly unique aquatic atmosphere from 6-9 p.m.
Seating is limited, and reservations are required for this five-course dinner. RSVP by calling the Museum & Aquarium at 563-557-9545, ext. 201. The cost is $55 per person and payment is due at time of reservation. Couples, singles, and groups are welcome.
Staff-supervised programming is provided for children across campus at the National River Center. The children’s program is $5 per child for members and $10 per child for non-members. Children must be one year old, or older, to attend.

Appetizer: Fresh Roma tomato and citrus pastry with tapenade and Boursin
Salad: Heart of romaine salad with shaved Parmesan and seasoned crostini
Soup: Italian minestrone with butter poached shrimp, served with warm garlic butter bread stick
Sides: Potatoes Romanoff and oven roasted fresh broccolini with shaved carrot
Entree: 8 oz. herb crusted pork tenderloin with berry balsamic glaze/8 oz. Fresh cut salmon filet, with a citrus dill cream sauce/Polenta Parmesan with a mushroom marinara
Dessert: Petite plate for two
