Who Works The Rivers

National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium

RiverWorks Discovery will host Who Works The Rivers, a free career education event, on the River Museum Campus, on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

At this event students will participate in a mini career fair, meet with representatives from the maritime industry and related fields, enjoy a free lunch, test their skills at line throwing, and tour a Newt Marine towboat and the William M. Black (a 1930s steam powered dredge boat docked at the Museum & Aquarium). 

This event helps raise awareness about careers on America's rivers available to students after they graduate high school or college.
