The Dubuque County Historical Society is seeking photography submissions for our upcoming exhibit Dubuque Traditions: A Photographic Experience as part of Home for the Holidays. The exhibit will provide a chance to experience the holiday traditions of our neighbors, friends, and strangers. Traditions are the stories, beliefs, customs, and routines that create a binding force between generations and provide a sense of belonging.
Dubuque Traditions is a chance to explore the moments in life, caught on camera, that represent those special things that build a connection between the people in our community.
The exhibit will open November 30th – Dec 22nd at the Mathias Ham Historic Site and is funded in part by the City of Dubuque Arts & Culture Special Projects Grant Program. Deadline for submissions is October 15th 2019. Submission details as follows:
Send photographs to firstname.lastname@example.org or by mail to ATTN: Dubuque Traditions, 350 E 3rd St., Dubuque, IA 52001
