Get ready for an outdoor experience you could only find at the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium. Presented by Dupaco, Ice Fest features engaging history presentations, demonstrations, and animal programs.

JANUARY 16 (SATURDAY)

  • 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM – Ice Fishing! (Ice Harbor)
  • 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Snow Carving throughout the day (Plaza)
  • 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM – Outdoor activities including Snow wall painting, hockey/field hockey rink, snowshoes, tubing/sledding (Boatyard)
  • 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Polar Bear Town: Rumble on the Tundra (Journey Theater)
  • 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Scavenger Hunt - Explore the River Museum at your own pace with this added element of fun.
  • 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM – Blacksmith Demonstrations throughout the day (Blacksmith Shop near Boatyard)
  • 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM – Vintage Films ice harvesting and skiing (Barge Theater)
  • 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM – Settlers Cabin programming throughout the day (Settlers Cabin in Wetland)
  • 10:30 AM - Ice Harvesting Demonstration (Ice Harbor)
  • 10:30 AM - 4:45 PM - Plumery Tails' Alaskan Malamute (Boardwalk)
  • 11:00 AM - Stingray Feedings ($10/ticket available at box office or online, limited to first 6 participants)
  • 12:30 PM - Ice Harvesting Demonstration (Ice Harbor)
  • 1:30-2 PM - Creature Feature: Meet an Animal Ambassador! (Backwater Marsh)
  • 1:30-2:30 PM - Ice Rescue Demonstrations (due to the unpredictable nature of their job, this is an approximate window for the demonstration) (Ice Harbor)
  • 2:30 PM - Stingray Feedings ($10/ticket available at box office or online, limited to first 6 participants)
  • 2:30 PM - Ice Harvesting Demonstration (Ice Harbor)

JANUARY 17 (SUNDAY)

TICKETS

All tickets purchased online are good for any two consecutive days with proof of purchase and include all Ice Fest activities if used January 16 and 17.
