Date & Time
The Iowa DNR, City of Dubuque, River Museum team members, and other partners will lead a community engagement event celebrating the aquatic diversity of Bee Branch Creek.
This will be done through aquatic invert surveying and fish/frog surveying. Volunteers will be taught how to conduct the surveys.
All nets, seins, identification guides, and reporting sheets will be provided by the River Museum. Please wear shoes that can get wet, appropriate clothing for the weather, and clothing that you do not mind getting dirty. Sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses are recommended as well.
Come ready to explore and learn about the super cool Bee Branch Creek Flood Mitigation Project and Urban Stream Corridor!
