The Dubuque County Historical Society (DCHS) provides resources for small county historical societies and museum professionals within Dubuque County. Materials include resource packets, webinar recordings, and sample documents.

DCHS is dedicated to the history, heritage, and culture of Dubuque County and is committed to ensuring equitable advancement of knowledge and serving public audiences by sharing successful operational strategies with small organizations. By making connections between existing collections, we can provide opportunities for all partners to grow.

DCHS Resource Packet

This is a comprehensive list of resources compiled by the Dubuque County Historical Society for our personal use as well as use by other museums, aquariums, historic sites and historic homes. General information about the organizations referenced in this list is included with links to resources such as toolkits and training opportunities. While many of the organizations offer free resources, some do require memberships to fully access their libraries. Links have been included in the document.
