McDonough Foundation supports Mathias Ham House restoration efforts

The James B. and Melita A. McDonough Foundation has awarded the Dubuque County Historical Society (DCHS) $20,000 for restoration efforts at the Mathias Ham House located at 2241 Lincoln Ave. in Dubuque, Iowa. Mathis Ham Historic Site reopens for season with modified Fourth of July celebration

The Mathias Ham Historic Site will reopen on July 2 with a modified Fourth of July celebration. Jeffris Family Foundation provides funding for Ham House

The Dubuque County Historical Society and its Mathias Ham Historic Site are pleased to announce a funding award from the Jeffris Family Foundation. The Mathias Ham Historic Site is participating in Smithsonian magazine’s 15th annual Museum Day on Sept. 21, 2019, from 1-4 p.m. Museum Day is an initiative across the United States to emulate the spirit of the Smithsonian Institution’s Washington D.C.-based facilities, which offer free admission every day.
