Dubuque County Historical Society’s Everybody’s Museum Membership Program is Awarded $1,500

The Dubuque County Historical Society was recently awarded $1,500 by the City of Dubuque’s Arts & Culture Creative Resiliency Grant Program. This will support the Everybody’s Museum Membership (EMM) Program.

This free program is an equitable education initiative aimed to serve low-income populations through free outreach programs, memberships, bus grants, and youth camp scholarships. Memberships also include admission to the River Museum and Mathias Ham Historic Site, outreach programs delivered in all five of Dubuque’s at-risk schools, and immersive lifelong informal learning experiences.

The Creative Resiliency Grant Program was created by the City of Dubuque Arts & Cultural Affairs Commission to provide flexible support to arts and culture cultural nonprofit organizations in response to programmatic and inequity concerns as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
